Our Design Process
STEP 1 Discovery and Vision
Let’s discuss your vision and goals. We will meet either in person or on a video call to get to know each other better and talk about what your project looks like to you. From this meeting we can get the full picture and discuss with you the best way to go about achieving it. From purchasing the domain name and hosting, to the images and content that will populate it. We will discuss the purpose of the website and what you plan to achieve with it.
STEP 2 Wireframe and Mockups
Now that we have the full vision, we can use this information to create what is called a wireframe of the website. The wireframe is the outline that shows how many pages there will be, what happens when something gets clicked on, and what the process & flow will be as someone navigates the site. Once we have the wireframe created we can create a mockup of what the site could look like. We will deliver the mockup to you for review and then discuss it to determine if we will move forward with it.
STEP 3 Design and Coding
Now we get nerdy. Our developers will begin coding the website and building it to the specifications that we laid out in the wireframes. During this building phase we will meet again to see how things are shaping up. It is an amazing thing to see your vision come to life. During this time you might have some minor edits and we welcome them during development. Seeing is believing and it will also give you more ideas.
STEP 4 Quality Assurance and testing
Now that the website is built we need to do some quality assurance and testing. We will go back over the entire site to make sure there are no misspellings. We will check to make sure the web site is displaying properly on mobile devices from Apple to Android as well as tablets. Finally we will test on web browsers new and old to make sure everything is working and displaying properly before making the Live.
